This project led by saxophonist Stéphane Payen was started in 2002 during a residency in Magny-les-Hameaux (Yvelines, France) and is the extension of the band Thôt. The music presented a strong affiliation to Steve Coleman's M Base movement and attracted many European top musicians who kept the torch alive as members of several other units such as Octurn, Print (3), Tribu (5), Aka Moon, etc...
