That Lonesome Sound (formerly known as The Thirteenth Son) was formed in Oslo in 2004 when two musical companions found each other through a strong common passion to country and folk music. The duo elevated its own special brand of old blues, gospel and bluegrass mixed with modern country and folk. Hans-Ingar Ødegaard (Hasse) - mandolin, guitar, vocals; Stian Kristensen - vocals, guitar, harmonica. Stian and Hans were in a band Absent from 1998 to 2000.
