1.Take 7 A Rough mix of best take 7 with more backing vocals / no echo. 2.Outfake Monster Version 11 Feb 1963 Make way for George, our guitar-hero! This monster' version was created by editing together (one after another) five guitar solos from George from different takes of I Saw Her standing There. It is a testament to Ringo's drumming and sense of timing, that we could do that! So hear for yourself as George plays as to save his life... only to find that this take is a breakdown... Recorded, like Track 1, on February 11, 1963. 3.Take 5 5 Mar 1963 Take 5, combined with various edit pieces at the beginning and for the harmonica break. March 5, 1963. STEREO. 4. 12 Sep 1963 An early take. September 12, 1963. 5. It Won't Be Long Take Unknown 30 Jul 1963 Probably from Alf Bicknell's Garage Tapes. 6. These unnumbered early takes were recorded on July 30, 1963. 7.Take 2 29 Jan 1964,The unedited take 2 in STEREO. Pathe Marconi Studios, Paris, January 29, 1964. Take 2 False Start, 16 Apr 1964 This take is aborted just after the beginning chord which is sounding very strange. John Barrett used this fragment for The Abbey Road Show. False start. A Hard Day's Night Take 3a, False Start 16 Apr 1964,SS.AHDN.01.03a Another false start. John Barrett used this fragment for The Abbey Road Show. False start. Take 3b 16 Apr 1964, SS.AHDN.01.03 Complete take after two false starts (take 2 & 3a) 9.Take 3 14 Aug 1964 10.Take 1, Oct 1964, SS.PM1.15.01 Only a 1:12 excerpt has surfaced so far. Take 1 sadly uncomplete. October 8, 1964. Taken from the 1983 Abbey Road Show. 11. 12. 15+16 Feb 1965, Basically the 'official' versions but mixed directly off the 4-track master and thus sounding superior than the unreleased tracks. February 15 and 16, 1965. 13.Take 5 12 Oct 1965,A rough mix of the released take 5 with a different vocal.October 12, 1965 Same version as on "From Me To You/in My Life". 14. 18 Oct 1965 Unreleased take, but with an organ-solo rather than the piano-solo, which was overdubbed later. October 18, 1965. Same version as on "From Me To You/in My Life". 15. 16 Oct 1965 This 'new' version was created by editing together the first instrumental take with a rough mix of the 'official' take. October 15, 1965. 16. 14 Apr 1966 Again, a combination of the first instrumental take (a breakdown recorded on 13 Apr 1966) with a 'dry' mix of the 'released' version (take 2 recorded on April 14, 1964). 17. 15 Dec 1966 The 'best' orchestrated version. December 15, 1966 18. Overdub 9 Jan 1967 An excerpt from the January 9, 1967 flute-overdub session. 19. 3 May 1967 The 'film' version - a different mix with Lennon voice-over (sometimes) and additional drums. May 3, 1967. 20. 6 Feb 1968 A very early mix of the released take with no trumpets and the Beatles doing funny voices. February 6, 1968. 21.TV David Frost Show 4 Sep 1968 The 'promo' version. The Beatles made a promo-clip for this song on September 4, 1968 at Twickenham studios, adding new vocals to their pre-recorded (July 10, 1968) backing track. 22. 30 Jul 1968 An additional early rehearsal take. July 30, 1968. 23.Take 5 Sessions 5 Jul 1968 A very early mix of the 'Anthology 3' version. July 5, 1968. 24.Take 117 RM5,21 Aug 1968 The unedited mono mix of the released version, longer. Taken from the "Peter Sellers Tapes". 25.Regular Jul 1969 The 'official' Abbey Road LP version, but here we have put 'Her Majesty' back to where she originally belonged! July 1969.
