Album UK 2012 on Gearbox Records label
Jazz (Hard-Bop, Modal)
Live from The Tivoli Restaurant & Ballroom, Morecambe, Lancashire on Wednesday, March 25th, 1959. With grateful thanks to Susan Bould, Derek Ansell and the late Jeff Clyne. Directly mastered from the original 1/4" tape using a Neumann VMS80 lathe. This is an undiscovered, high energy hard bop live outing by arguably Britain's most important jazz combo, containing tracks not on any of their studio releases.
