Vocal soul and doo-wop group, led by George Clinton. Formed in 1955 and Modelled after Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers. They recorded for a bunch of small labels in the 60's.Their biggest hit is "I Wanna Testify" (1967). Changed names to Funkadelic and Parliament in late 1960s, affter a court case about another group (who won) The Parliaments (2)
