This compilation rounds up the pre Vazen Vol material (CD1, 1983-1988, including all the vinyl output) and the -yet unreleased-post-Vazen Vol recordings (CD2, 1993-1997). These CDs were mastered from a wide range of original recordings, including vinyl records, reel to reel tapes, cassettes, DAT-tapes and other digital sources. Disc 1: Tracks 1 to 4 recorded March 1984 at QI-studio, Rotterdam, mixed at Revista studio, Rotterdam. Previously released as Be No Vague Schismatic Tracks 5 to 8 recorded December 1984 on mobile studio at QI-kamp, Rotterdam, mixed in Amsterdam in January 1985. Previously released as Gruffy Splurge Tracks 9 & 10 recorded in March 1985, Studio 150, Amsterdam. Previously released as soundtrack to video 'Volcano Mud' for Österreichische Rundfunk. Track 11 recorded in 1986, Zwembad Studio, Amsterdam Tracks 12 to 17 recorded and mixed January 1988 at Orkater studio, Amsterdam. Previously released as We're So Titanical Disc 2: Tracks 1 to 6 recorded September 1993 Tracks 7 to 10 recorded in February and October 1996 in Amsterdam, at Frank Van der Weij's studio. Track 12 recorded at the Knitting Factory, New York by local radio station. Tracks 13 & 14 recorded live at Bimhuis, Amsterdam, October 1997, for VPRO-radio. Please note that track 2-11 is omitted on the booklet's print! Formated as a fold-out digisleeve CD with fold-out booklets fixed inside the panels.
