The Sexy Frogs

Band, FR

The Sexy Frogs were formed in Paris, France in the spring of 1989 by US citizen John Weeks (lead guitar, lead vocals, left) and French citizens Bruno Blum (lead vocals, lead guitar, occasional bass, second left), Jean-Paul Effe (bass, vocals, occasional guitar, fourth left) and Pierre-Yves Ohayon (drums). Four of the five original songs studio recordings by The Sexy Frogs feature Ervé Déroff on drums. On their 1994 profile photograph by Bob Gruen, Gérald Coulondre (third left) was the final drummer before the group disbanded in the summer of 1994. The Sexy Frogs played mostly classic rock covers but recorded some fine original songs as well. Three of them are included on Bruno Blum's "Think Différent" album.
