The Trumains were out of Amityville Long Island New York, USA. The lead singer was Kenny "Lucky " Lewis who also wrote, produced and arranged for the group along with Stanly Lucas, Howard Jennings. you will find that these three are responsible for all of the trumains productions. The group consisted of Kenny, Tommy ward, his brother Eddie ward and Pelinio Ruez. all of them were lead singers, They had recordings on RCA and Vigor labels. Kenny Lewis, Howard Jennings and Stanley Lucas also wrote for artists on other labels. The Trumains were formed in or arround 1964 as The Continentals, when they were all in high school. They were first produced by Gene Redd Jr. who also produced Kool and the Gang.
