Forming in 1966, The Accents hailed from Providence, Rhode Island. The original band consisted of Joseph Tutalo (lead guitar, vocals), Del Lufkin (bass), Joseph Salgueiro (hammond organ, vocals), Steven Fallone (drums, vocals), and Ricky Paolucchi (lead, rhythm, and 12-string guitar, vocals). The Accents recorded their 1968 single “Birds In My Tree” / “She Cried” at Planet Records in Providence. This release came originally with a picture sleeve. note some of them are cut and paste and are not all exactly the same. The Picture sleeve is stapled to a generic 7" sleeve as shown in the picture
