Band,
R&B/Soul
Released at least one 7" under the name "The Air-Dales" on Roulette, but mainly collaborations with vocalist Rocky Roberts as Rocky Roberts & The Airedales. Band bassist Wess Johnson took over as vocalist in 1967 when Roberts left: see Wess & The Airedales. Although an American band, the group was primarily famous in France and Italy, where members were stationed while in the military. They inherited their name from their producer's defunct band Doug Fowlkes And The Airdales.
