Collection of Early Years "Contained in this album are some of the greatest spiritual songs of our time, performed by one of the world's leading spiritual groups, The Angelic Gospel Singers. The Angelic's had their share of struggling during their time. They experienced financial disappointments as well as artistic rewards of the gospel highway during music's golden age. The Angelic are originally from Philadelphia and still live there. These early recordings show the Angelic's style to be fully developed in their early years. "Touch Me Lord Jesus", their first recording and their first big hit. The group was organized in 1944 by Margaret Allison. Mrs. Allison was joined by her sister, Josephine McDowell and Mr. Thomas Mobley, later to be joined by three other ladies. Nashboro records is proud to present this collection of twelve all time best selling selections in The Angelic's "Early Year"."
