Now-defunct American folk rock/indie roots band from Nashville, Tennessee, founded in 2009 and disbanded in 2015. The Apache Relay consisted of two brothers, Michael Ford, Jr. (vocals, guitar) and Ben Ford (bass, vocals) as well as Mike Harris (guitar, vocals), Brett Moore (mandolin, organ), Kellen Wenrich (fiddle), and Steve Smith (drums). The band's name originated from a race-competition scene in the movie "Heavyweights".
