Album US 1977 on Savoy Records label
R&B/Soul (Gospel)
In these last , with confusion, fear and hatred living in the hearts of so many of God's children, a joyful noise needs to be heard throughout our nation, giving hope to those who have lost the Way, and helping us all to wait with patient joy for the promised return of our Lord, Jesus Christ. It has been said that all music is a form of worship- and it is certainly true that all things belong to God. To express our message we have used the sounds of our own age, even as Bach and Handel and Mahalia Jackson used the music of their day to praise the Lord. Our group has people from all walks of like, and so our music reflects all aspects of American song. I is not gospel style, nor rock; it is not jazz, nor country; yet it is all of these things. And so, we humbly offer up this music, the fruit of our toiling, in the hope that God will accept it, and bless it, and use it as an instrument of His will.
