From the heart of the Midwest with solid pop punk roots and a drive to make music that’s not just a recreation of the bands they idolize, The Avenue isn’t your typical pop punk fare. Lifelong friends Jordan Arizona Smith and Brad Smithers set out to create music that they would not only want to play, but listen to. Although the band has seen members come and go, a name change, and an evolution of their sound from solid pop punk to pop rock, Jordan and Brad have never stopped moving forward. With the addition of Cody Young on bass guitar, the band is set to take their past success and turn it into music gold. Fans of the band should expect big news and big sound from The Avenue over the coming summer months as they finalize the release of a new E.P. and set out on a tour of the Midwest.
