Project by Chris Cutler and Daan Vandewalle created in late 2008. Initially a festival ensemble convened to play pieces by Cage, Brown, Cardew and Stockhausen at various international music festivals, then a more generalized ensemble trying to interpret a range of non-standard notational scores, in new way. Their aesthetic, like the band itself, has been marinated in contemporary acoustic and electronic musics, noise and theatre.
