The Bampots

Band,
Alternative

The Bampots were a sister teenage powerpop / new wave group from Wichita, Kansas. They released an album in 1982 of songs written by several other musicians from the Wichita area, including Conrad Stolze of the band Dogs?. Their Joan Jett-look and Kim Fowley cover songs no doubt trying to follow the success of The Runaways. The album never did anything, but they did play some clubs in Los Angeles.
