The Band of HM Royal Marines Portsmouth under the direction of the Principal Director of Music Lt Col Nick Grace RM and the Chichester Cathedral Choir directed by Sarah Baldock perform some of Holst's greatest compositions. Recorded in Chichester Cathedral during October 2009. This recording is a representation of the concert performed in Chichester Cathedral on the occassion of the 75th anniversary of Holst's death, during which a new memorial to him, called Music of the Spheres, was unveiled.
