Album 2010 on Remasters Workshop label
Rock and Pop
This is the third of three of the first-ever Beatles CD bootlegs. As legend has it, and according to the Clinton Heylin book, a college student with nerves of steel walked into Technotronics in Philadelphia in 1987 and was able to lie convincingly enough that they believed he had authorization from EMI to have 1500 CDs made as promotional items. From this came 500 CDs each of Sessions (48001), The Beatles At The Beeb (48002) and Get Back (48003). This was apparently the only time the person in question did this, retiring from the business immediately afterward. There are no identifying marks on his discs or packaging, so his product is referred to as being on the (Fake) EMI label.
