Album US 1994 on Shalom label
Rock and Pop (Rock’n’Roll, Pop Rock)
Early Beatleg features 2 classic British TV appearances, taken from video sources. Despite the title on the cover sheet, the contents do not match what is listed. Side 1 is their 2nd appearance on Sunday Night At The London Palladium from Jan 12, 1964 (despite the incorrect info on the cover sheet stating Oct 1963) Also on the bill that night were singer Alma Cogan and comedian Dave Allen. The Beatles joined them and Forsyth on a revolving carousel at the end of the show where they waved goodbye to the tune of Startime, which represents track A8. Side 2 features most of their 2nd appearance on the British TV show "Big Night Out", from Feb 23, 1964 (The cover sheet incorrectly states "Blackpool Night Out"). Track B9 is incomplete. The audio is direct from a film or video source, so all of the banter and sketches performed in these shows are included here as well. The cover is a solid white jacket with a green tinted cover sheet inserted. Blank on the back. Label is a light spotted blue label with large A & B and title. Catalog # obtained from run-out data.
