A.k.a. Die Fidelen Minnesänger
Austrian sixties beat band. Originally from Carinthia, later moved to Vienna due to an contract with major label Polydor. They released a couple of commercial records as well as playing the backing band of schlager singer Randy Scott. Their first solo LP is a unique example of early austrian psych beat. Disbanded in 1969. They also released records under the alias "Die fidelen Minnesänger" die "Alten Rittersleut". Their leader Werner Marinell later got famous as schlager singer Blondl with hits like „Zipfl eine, Zipfl auße" oder „Zipfl in die Höh`". Hits which still get played in touristic regions of winter wonderland Austria.
