Brothers Christian and Frank Be(e)rman(n) began their music careers as musicians in various live bands in Germany. In 1994 they launched their own production/songwriting company in Hamburg. Since then, they have received over 80 gold and platinum records for their worldwide hits with major labels including Sony, BMG, Universal, EMI/Capital and Warner and they have worked with renowned artists including Hanson, Sophie B. Hawkins, Ben Jelen, Real McCoy, Amber, Jessica Simpson and the Baha Men. In 2001 they were awarded the prestigious Grammy Award for the Baha Men’s "Who Let the Dogs Out". In addition to winning two BMI Awards for Most Performed Song in the USA, the Bermans received a Grammy nomination in 2004 for their published song "Love One Another", recorded and performed by Cher. Also honored by Billboard magazine in its "Billboard of the Year Issue," the Berman Brothers were cited among the 20 most successful producers in the US billboard charts. Their music is featured in major TV/movie commercials by clients including Nissan, Casio, Lufthansa and Honda and Lexus. The Bermans’ movie and soundtrack division landed several songs in top-10 US blockbuster movies including Miss Congeniality featuring Sandra Bullock, Parent Trap featuring Lindsay Lohan and Studio 54 with Mike Myers and Salma Hayek as well as TV series like Sex in the City and The Sopranos. In 2006 they created and produced the Album "Rhythms del Mundo," a non-profit collaborative effort which fused an all-star cast of Cuban muscians including Ibrahim Ferrer and Omara Portuondo of the Buena Vista Social Club with tracks from US and UK artists such as U2, Coldplay, Sting, Jack Johnson, Maroon 5, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs and many others.
