Compil. DE 1996 on Warner Bros. Records label
Jazz (Contemporary Jazz, Free Improvisation)
Excerpt from Liner Notes: The tracks collected on this disc represent Evans' handpicked selections for a double-lp originally scheduled to be released in the latter part of 1980. Evans died on September 15 of that year, a mere three months after this music was recorded. His choices, as reflected in the notes of Malcolm Addey, who did the original mixing and editing for the planned project, were revealed during the research phase leading up to the 6-CD box, Turn Out The Stars. The tracks here are taken from that set, providing us with the album that Evans never completed.
