Single UK 1989 on Parlophone label
Dance (House, Synth-pop)
Originally to be released with standard Parlophone catalogue R6214, but changed to the vanity cat# of RIDE1 after the discs had been pressed. The discs still carry the original cat# in the run-out but it has been striked through and a second stamp put alongside it. Full rear sleeve text as follows : The Questions: Is opera accessible to everyone? Why is Harvey Goldsmith staging our opera from the 5th June at Earls Court? Will the classics benefit from 'The Bezits' members James Antony and Fats Tonkins 'discoing' this French masterpiece? Is it fair to assume that Stan Neilton an Francis Charles, the alleged producers, are nothing less than Police Five addicts. Can you believe that Peter Colin, engineer has rigidly stuck to an acid free diet for more than a week, or for that matter that carl, his right hand sound mixer, has quit to take up full time violin lessons. Has Ben had a bill. Are EMI that desperate to associate themselves with this kind of music. Who is Carmen? Is she still available, why doesn't she like to be touched there? Did Good Earth Studios bookings totally disentegrate as a direct result of the Bizet revolution. Will there be a follow up single, does anybody care? Yeah!! What is the manual?
