The Black Experience Band

Funk Band from Durham, North Carolina. Became the back up band for the "Communicators", later split from them and then after went on to play for the "Modulations". Members included: Eli Brown (Saxophone), Charles Bailey (Trumpet), James “Butch” Barton (Trombone), Willis Norman (Lead Guitar), Roy Hubert (Rhythm Guitar), Willie Hill (Bass Guitar), and Linwood Parker (Drums). Later line up included James Brown (Saxophone), Bill Amey (Trombone).
