Mid 60's garage rock group from Hays, KS, USA. Originally called The Blue Boys, they changed their name to The Blue Things in 1965 to avoid confusion and potential legal issues with the late Jim Reeves' backing group of the same name. Members: Val Stoecklein - Rhythm Guitar, Vocals (May 1964-1967) Bobby Day - Drums (1965-1968) Mike Chapman - Lead Guitar (1964-1968) Richard Scott - Bass (1964-1968) Richard Larzalere - Drums (1964-1965) Larry Burton – Vocals
