Printed Notes: For Tina with Love. In February 2001 I was living for a few months in Austin, Texas, and Kimya came to visit. We made up five songs that week and taped them with me on guitar and her on keyboard. Later, in 2002, we were on tour together in Germany, with my brother Jack on bass and Anders Griffen on drums, and we turned those five songs into full-band songs. We were playing in a cold, clammy basement venue and we were all bundled up in our sweaters and hats and scarves so the band became The Bundles. We wrote some new songs too. In February 2009 we got together to make some full-band Bundles recordings at Dub Narcotic Studios in Olympia, Washington. ... So on one hand this album took like two days to write and record, on the other hand it took eight years! See you again in 2017! Continuous track-numbering on release. Track times are not printed on the release itself and were taken by stopwatch.
