A.k.a. Paul Boross & Ainsley Harriott
The Calypso Twins were a musical comedy duo formed in the 1980's by Ainsley Harriott (now a famous television chef) with his childhood friend Paul Boross (also of Morris Minor and The Majors. They embarked on a tour which took them all over Europe and America but their biggest success came when they returned to the UK. The duo became a big hit, especially with the song 'World Party', on London’s comedy circuit which led to many TV appearances and even a record releases. The Twins were regular performs at The Comedy Store, Jongleurs and clubs in New York like The Improv and The Comic Strip. They put the act back together for the big charity event to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Comedy Store. Ainsley has written over 20 cook books and has hosted countless TV shows including Ready, Steady Cook, The Barbecue Bible. Recently he was on Strictly Come Dancing and made a Channel 4 series called Ainsley Harriott's Street Food. Paul - also known as The Pitch Doctor - has written three bestselling books including The Pitching Bible. Paul presented the BBC2 series SPEED UP SLOW DOWN. After nine series he is still Team Psychologist on the Sky TV series School Of Hard Knocks.
