Album UK 2001 on Cartoon label
Dance (Breaks, Speed Garage)
Tilos contains samples of UK Apachi's 'Original Nuttah'. The later three track release of 'Mosquito' shares the same catalogue number [CAR 01]. However the B-Side track 'Tilos' only appears on this release. Released with an A4 promotion sheet from Waxworks promotions. As the PR sheet indicates, the record was sent out to key DJs to launch the new label and precedes the 3 track promo CAR 01 that shares the same catalogue number. PR sheet reads: 'New label Cartoon launch their account with the debut from The Carbonfools, who hail from Hungary. 'Mosquito' is some very raw funky business, featuring an incessant horn line, fat double bass, Dwayne Eddy style twangs and what can only be described as a mosquitto solo, all with added continental flare. 'Tolos,' the flip side is ragga tinged classic sample fest, that will keep train spotters quiet for a while. Fat breaks and pumping bass all add up to a classy floor rocker, that should keep your punters more than happy. Murderation!. This is a new label, so let's get things off to a flyer. Your full support is required. Return No Later Than 28/08/01.'
