Duo project of English underground Progressive-House producers Rob Green & Nick Hook. Having made a storming tune together back in 1999 as Hook vs. Shango, time drew them apart until the discovery, in 2005, that they had the same hair dresser! They wanted to go back to styles that turned them on before Progressive-House in a more funky and soulful style. Influenced by the likes of Kevin Saunderson and Joey Negro, The Casey Jones Effect was born.
