Doo-wop group Formed in 1949, Northwest Atlanta, Georgia Members and their roles: Dodd Hicks (Lead Tenor), Henry Boyd (Tenor), Ralph Riley (Baritone), Romeo Shuler (Bass) Grover Mitchell (2) replaced Dodd Hicks when the latter joined the army. After his military service, Dodds formed a new version of the group, with Henry Boyd and tenor Langston George and Edward Patten, both from Gladys Knight And The Pips. They named themselves Kashmirs and disbanded after their one and only single.
