Original cast recording for a stage play commissioned by American Lutheran Church's Division of Youth Activity, in 1966. First performed in 1967 at the Luther League Convention; Seattle, WA, and in Dallas, TX. The musical play was written by Richard Wilson, who was then employed as a writer and musical director at the advertising agency Campbell-Mithun, Inc. Herbert Pilhofer (more familiar as Herb Pilhofer) is credited in the notes as musical director of the Tyrone Guthrie Theater. The play was directed by James Fritschel, Associate Professor of Music History and Theory, Wartburg College - Waverly, Iowa. Mr. Fritschel was also the acting director of The Castle Singers at this time.
