During World War II the Hydraulic Engineering Company choir and concert party gave concerts in the Chester area to raise money for charity and to entertain H.M.Forces. After the war a small group of men from the choir regrouped to form the Cestrian Male Voice Choir. From 1999 know as the City of Chester Male Voice Choir
