A.k.a. Chmieleski Brothers
Florian Chmielewski organized the original Chmielewski Brothers Polka Band in 1955 with brothers Leonard, Jerry, Chester and Donny, leading to the production of his first TV show, “Polish TV Party", on WDSM-TV. The show eventually became “Chmielewski Funtime", and Florian produced more than 2,000 episodes that were televised on 42 stations nationwide. By the 1970s, the band included a fourth generation of the family — Florian’s children, Florian Jr., Jeff, Mark and Patty. The group later created the label and issued their songs on "Chmielewski Records" (C Records). Florian Chmielewski later became a Senator in the United States, and this was reflected with the issue of an album titled "Funtime, The Swinging Senator" (C Records).
