From the liner notes: (by Z. Greenstreet Kan) "To those who are familiar with the entertainment scenes around Southeast Asia and part of Australia, the name itself suffices, and perhaps no further explanation is needed. To those who have never been to these shores, however, the Chopsticks may mean nothing more than what we Chinese have on the dinner table in place of the customary fork. Just imagine what a surprise will be in store when they happen to be around the bubbling Chopsticks breaking into a song! All too often, the media of television and nightclub cabaret, we are thoroughly captivated by their superb showmanship and are inclined to forget how well the Chopsticks can sing. That this pair of singing sisters can entertain you to a treat, there is never any doubt; but it is only when we are stripped of the visual aspect of this treat that we begin to realize the Chopsticks are singers first and entertainers next, and that's that. If you don't trust my works, why not spin this disc and find out yourself?
