Peter Austin: "This was our first recording as the Clarendonians, "A Day Will Come", produced by Leslie Kong, recorded in 1963 at Federal Recording Studio. I started singing at the Kings Cinema in Kingston at the age of seventeen, it was a talent contest, we came second. You will notice i said we meaning someone else was with me, his name was Roy Faulder, our stage name then was the Nightingales. I then left Kingston and went back to Clarendon where i originated from, there i met a young Ernest Wilson. We team up and named ourselves the Clarendonians. We went to Kingston, auditioned for Leslie Kong of Beverly's Record The first song we recorded was titled "A Day Will Come" with the late Don Drummond on trombone, we then left Beverly's for Duke Reid."
