For over 67 years Clovernook Home and School for the Blind, located in suburban Cincinnati, has provided a home and employment for blind women from many parts of the country. Begun in 1965, as one of many recreational activities at Clovernook, the "Clovernotes" have evolved, under the direction of Mrs. Simons, into a choral group which averages three to five programs per month for Church and Civic groups throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. The primary purpose of the "Clovernotes" first recording in August, 1969, was to furnish a memento for the "Notes" themselves. Due to the overwhelming response to the first album, and many requests for another, this second one has been prepared. The selections on this album, as on the preceding one, represent the versatility of the group, and were chosen by the "Clovernotes", with each member having an opportunity to include her favorite. Note: the braille insert lists the names of the "Clovernotes" and the song titles. It was prepared in the Clovernook Printing Shop.
