Band, GB
Rock
Band hailing from the neighborhood of Huyton, Liverpool, England formed in 2000 by bassist Sean Longworth and drummer Joey Harrison. Guitarist Karl Rowlands joined not long after. They met ex-La's frontman Lee Mavers, who they backed in the studio and he briefly worked with them on their material but his erratic personality led to him never joining the band on stage or on any recordings. Wayne Whitfield effectively replaced Mavers and they were signed to Hut Records in 2002. They released their first single in 2002. At that time, line-up consisted of Wayne Whitfield (vocals, guitar), Sean Longworth (bass), Joey Harrison (drums) and Karl Rowlands (guitar). The band split in 2003 despite a relative cult following, warm support for their debut album and successful support slots with Toploader and The Bluetones, they were also managed by Tyson from Cast.
