A.k.a. The Sweet Things
Female soul trio from Washington D.C. Francine Barker a.k.a. Francine Hurd formed the group with Dyanne Stewart and Nancy J. Johnson in the mid 60's and debuted at Mira Records, a subsidiary of los Angeles' Mirwood. Their debut, was produced and written by Van McCoy. They released just one single with that name before they name themselves Sweet Things and sign a contract in 1965 with Columbia's Date.
