This is the New Jersey group who first recorded as The Superbs (5) before re-releasing their last single on J City Records. Rhetta Young formed the group Retta Young And The Devotions, who first recorded on Silver Dollar Records, later to appear on the Wanderik imprint. The Retta Young And The Devotions album was originally released in 1977, and featured the tracks ‘I Put A Spell On You’ and ‘The Saga Of Willie Jones’.
