Side A: White label Side B: Black label with a 'silent groove' Side A is an advert for The Doobie Brothers album 'The Captain And Me' which was released in the UK in March 1973. It features a spoken intro by an unknown male voice followed by short clips of two tracks from the album ['Natural Thing' and 'Dark Eyed Cajun Woman'] Script: "So I sez to the guy 'Give me the new Cosmic Dandruff album'! And he sez 'You're makin' a big mistake!' And I sez 'I want the new Cosmic Dandruff album'!! And he sez 'You're makin' a big mistake!' Brought it home and played it. Talk about a big mistake. Took some Doobie Brothers..." [sound effect of two Alka Seltzer tablets being dropped into a glass of water] (Clip of 'Natural Thing') "The Captain And Me is the new Doobie Brothers album. On Warner Brothers Records and Tapes. Don't make a big mistake." (Clip of 'Dark Eyed Cajun Woman' to fade) Catalogue number derived from stamped run-out.
