From 1971 to 1980, the mexican releases under Elektra label would be licensed to Discos Gamma (4) (therefore, many mexican EP's, singles or LP's under the Gamma label and licensed by Elektra that were dated with the year of release/production previous to 1971 in the Discogs Database, actually were released in or after that year) Since 1981, the Elektra catalogue for the mexican recording market would be distributed by Producciones WEA, S.A. de C.V., which would evolve to Warner Music México, S.A. de C.V. during the 1990's.
