British children's TV series 1970-71 "Here Come the Double Deckers" featured singers / cast members: Michael Audreson, Gillian Bailey, Bruce Clark, Peter Firth, Brinsley Forde, Debbie Russ, Douglas Simmonds, Melvyn Hayes. Originally their music was more roots-orientated reggae but in the 1980s the band achieved a more pop-style soul sound and had several hits including the number one "Don't Turn Around."
