Jazz orchestra formed In the early 1960s by Coventry-born cornet player called Dud Clews in the tradition of the Harlem bands of the 1920s and 1930s Dud Clews died within a few years of the orchestra's formation. The orchestra continued to play together for 18 years before disbanding in 1978.
