Italian psychedelic rock band from Alice Castello (Vercelli) formed in 1985 and disbanded in 1991. After The Effervescent Elephants broke up Lodovico Ellena formed The Mirrors, Casciano and Proverbio formed Looking Glass Alice. In 2010 get together for recorded an album with Claudio Rocchi on Psych Out Records. The name of the band is inspired from the song 'The Effervescing Elephant' by Syd Barrett.
