The End Of The World Championship (TEOTWC) is a drone musical project of Björn Granzow, currently based in Germany. After experimenting with a guitar for a few years, Björn moved to keyboards, and started to make records with some guidance and creative support from Nicholas Szczepanik. Granzow uses various synthesizers, such as Dave Smith Instruments Mopho x4 or Moog, as well as other sound sources, for example digitally processed field recordings. The End Of The World Championship made a debut in 2013 with a drone cassette on Umor Rex label, and since then he released three albums so far. Another important influence for the project is Lawrence English, who mastered all of TEOTWC releases to day and provided some artistic guidance.
