Single US 1972 on A & G Records label
Rock and Blues (Jump Blues, Doo-Wop)
With Al Browne's Orch. Vocal Group, Jump Proper, BMI Info from label owner Tony D'Ambrosio: The Fascinations on A & G 101 were a male group from Brooklyn, NY. Both sides of A & G 101 were recorded for Al Browne in 1959; I released them (A & G was my label) in 1972. The real name of the group was not the Fascinations. When Al Browne and I were going through his master tapes, there was no name for the group on these two sides. I named them The Fascinations, after a few other collectors told me they sounded somewhat like The Fascinators, another Brooklyn group. Less than 150 copies of the record survived a heating system flood that occurred a few years after the records were pressed. Originally 500 were pressed.
