Album 2009 on N15 label
Dance (Dub, Noise, Big Beat)
Fountayne Blues is an EP based around life in North East London, the thriving and mighty Tottenham. The title track is named after the 'red hot cleaning service' a brothel that briefly existed next door to N15's studios (until we got it shut down). The neighbourhood is colourful and varied, at times grim, and always full of surprises. Master Kard was written as an anthem for the credit 'crunch' and is dedicated to anyone who believes that a debt is not actually an asset. Hello Mr God pays tribute in a very awkward way to Mr Hank Shoklee of the legendary Bomb Squad, visionary producer of Public Enemy, while also hearkening back to TFT's early roots in the maelstrom of Los Angeles's underground music scene of the late 1980's, particularly the demented and wonderful Ethyl Meatplow.
