They were signed at Old Town Records by Hy Weiss, Their biggest hit is "So Fine" that charted in 1959, a song credited to Jim Gribble. There was a lawsuit from Johnny Otis' lawyer that claimed the copyright of the song, recorded in 1955 by The Sheiks (released at Federal), a group that included Jesse Belvin, which sometimes is credited for writing the song. Johnny Otis' side won the case, so Hy Weiss had to pay a big amount of money for this. Between 1960 and 1962 there were several changes in the group's line up with Bobby Moore (4) (1960), Randall Stewart (1961), some of the recruited members of the group. The group parted company with Old Town Records in 1965. Tommy Bullock left the group in 1962 for some solo singles and his collaboration with Cleveland Horne as the duo Tommy & Cleve in 1966. The group released their last single in 1978.
