Dayton, Ohio 1968-72 The Four Korners were a four member soul vocal group from Dayton. The group leader was Floyd Weatherspoon. The group traveled to Cincinnati and recorded a 45 at Jewel, backed by the Fabulous Originals band. The original song “Mad About The Girl”, which was a local hit and sold a fair amount of records. The group’s name was originally spelled The Four Korners but the 45 lists them with the conventional spelling.
