American vocal group formed by four young women, all pretty blondes, innocent, schmaltzy, nostalgic, top-40 fun from the late 60s, were daughters of famous King Sisters and members of the equally famous King Family. In early 20s, first appeared on TV on John Davidson's Kraft Summer Music Hall, then they were signed a recording contract with Capitol, appeared on top TV shows like Jonathan Winters and Johnny Carson and in concert with Buddy Rich, Buddy Greco and Stan Getz. "Introducing" their debut album, containing 11 covers, including a pair by Burt Bacharach, a pair by Lennon/McCartney, Brian Wilson's "God Only Knows" and other pop hits.
